I reached 24 weeks last Saturday, so am i already 6 months or at 2nd trimester or have already reached the 3rd trimester? Is 9 months the full term (as we all know it) or is it 10 months (huh?). Do we count weeks or do we count months?
Headache, headache! According to the doctor, our pregnancy is counted by weeks, and a full term pregnancy is approximately 40 weeks. Do the maths, 40 divides by 4 = 10 (months). Hmmm....
Okay, something weird here is that our pregnancy is caalculated from the first day of our last menstruation. So we are calculated before we are even conceived. Hahahahaaaa.
So when i reach 24 weeks last saturday, i am actually approx. 22 weeks pregnant (which makes me at 5 1/2 mnths instead of the 6?? Or am i already at six??). So then at which week does each trimester start? Truth be told, i wished i was already at 3rd trimester on Saturday, but nope. That's not how the calculation goes.
